Daniel Chapter One Cross Country Relay Results: October 3, 2003  BOILING SPRINGS, NC - Senior Chip Carter (left) led the men’s cross-country team to a second place finish at the danielchapterone/GWU Invitational in Boiling Springs on Friday October 3, 2003. Carter finished second for GWU with a time of 20:26.8 over the 6200-meter course. Sylivia Chelimo’s fourth place individual finish enhanced the Lady Bulldogs to a second place team finish. UNC Asheville swept the men's and women's team titles at the meet. On the men's side Adam Gaske came in next for GWU in sixth place. Andrew Howard (13th), Adam Stewart (14th), Matthew Winning (19th), Shedrick Elliot (21st) and Shawn Pendergrass (22nd) rounded out the men's finishers for GWU. Asheville’s Michaela Logue captured the women's individual title in 23:38.9. Asheville swept the number two, three, five, six and seventh place positions to oust GWU of the title, 17-42. Amanda Olsen finished eighth for GWU. Michele Milner (9th), Irene Cheymayek (10th), Catherine Warden (11th), Kathryn Phillips (12th), Marcie Milner (13th) and Tamara Stephenson (16th) rounded out GWU’s finishers.
